How Does APi Construction's Energy Appraisal Program Work?

Our NIA-certified energy appraisers conduct a thorough evaluation of your facility's existing insulation systems through a thermal imagery inspection, interviews, and in-depth analysis. The thermal performance of insulated piping and equipment will be compared to that of any un-insulated, or under insulated, piping and equipment in your facility. Based on the analysis, our appraisers will document the actual Btu, dollars, and emissions you are saving or losing with your current system. We will also provide you with the potential dollar savings and emission reductions with an insulation upgrade. Your final customized report will identify recommendations and calculate the potential return on investment.

What Is the Return on Investment (ROI)?

The time that it takes your facility to save enough money to pay for the actual cost of our repair work is surprisingly fast. When compared to other conservation measures, the ROI for a professionally installed mechanical insulation system is often less than six months. If requested, our energy appraiser will provide a professional cost estimate regarding the report's insulation recommendations.
