Scope of work:
APi supplied and installed over 400,000 SF of API Type I Prefabricated Insulation Panels on the ductwork and fans associated with three Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control (WAPC) Fabric Filters (installed by others).
Additional Information:
Gentlemen Station was a major on-ground ductwork insulation project containing many of the largest pieces APi has ever done at grade. This project's profile picture shows a 120-ft. long piece of ductwork that was completely ground insulated by API, and then hoisted into place with a Manitowoc 21000 series crane.
