On June 6, 2010 a tornado touched down and damaged the Fermi Unit #2 generator building, forcing an automatic shutdown. APi Construction immediately responded by fabricating Fermi's liner panel system, along with their plant specified siding profile at our St. Paul fabrication facility. Product was then shipped to the plant, and installed around the clock in order to meet the plant's operation date, which was within four (4) days.
