Scope of Work
The Council Bluffs Unit #4 project was as grassroots 790-MW coal-fired power plant. APi supplied and installed all the insulation and jacketing for the new boiler piping and balance of plant piping. The total sum of insulated pipe reached more than 80,000 LF when APi was complete. In addition, APi also installed more than 330,000 SF of insulation and lagging on the new Hitachi supercritical coal-fired boiler.
