Spurlock #1 AQCS Ductwork & Siding Project

SCOPE OF WORK:
Supply and installation of approximately 20,000 SF of insulation & lagging on the AQCS ductwork associated with an Alstom Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (WFGD) and Alstom Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP). In addition, API installed approximately 32,000 SF of a liner panel siding system over the WESP enclosures and various other buildings on site.

Spurlock Unit #2 AQCS Piping & Siding Project

SCOPE OF WORK:
Supply and installation of approximately 32,000 SF of insulation & lagging on the AQCS ductwork and I.D. Fans associated with an Alstom Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (WFGD) system and two (2) Alstom Wet Electrostatic Precipitators (WESP). API also installed 12,000 LF of insulation & pipe jacketing on the WFGD and WESPs. In addition, API installed approximately 108,000 SF of an insulated liner panel siding system on the WESP’s and various other buildings on site.

Comanche Units #1-3 AQCS

Supply and installation of approximately 433,000 SF of API Type I Panels on seven (7) Babcock & Wilcox SDAs, two (2) B&W Fabric Filter Dust Collectors (FFDCs), and their associated ductwork and ID fans. API also installed the insulation and jacketing for 10,000 LF of pipe related to this work. In addition, API installed 189,700 SF of architectural siding on the SDA penthouse enclosures, FFDC penthouse enclosures, and FFDC hopper enclosures.

Shop installation of 77,000 SF of ductwork Insulation & Lagging to be associated with an FGD. The insulation system is comprised of one 2" thick single layer of fiberglass insulation against the plate with a 2" thick single layer API Type I prefabricated panel installed outside of the stiffeners.

In addition, installation of approximately 19,000 SF of insulation and lagging on four (4) Howden I.D. Booster Fans with the GOWA insulation system.

Weston #4 Turnkey Project

Supply and installation of 212,000 SF of conventional insulation and 20,000 LF of insulation and pipe jacketing on a 500-MW Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) Supercritical Boiler and two (2) B&W SCRs. API also installed 230,000 SF of API Type I prefabricated panels on the plant AQCS to include two (2) B&W Spray Dry Absorbers, one (1) B&W Fabric Filter, ID Fans, and the associated ductwork. In addition, API installed the insulation on the balance of plant piping and equipment to include 86,000 LF of pipe and 52,000 SF of flatwork.
