While NRG Energy will be closing the Unit #3 boiler at Indian River, the utility is making a large capital investment on their Unit #4 plant by retrofitting an extensive Air Quality Control System (AQCS). APi will supply and install approximately 305,000 SF of insulation and lagging on a Riley Power selective catalytic reduction system (SCR), Alstom NID Dry Absorption System Fabric Filter, two ID Fans, and the associated AQCS ductwork.
