Job Overview:
This position is located on site in Idaho Falls, ID. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Construction Project Manager to oversee the installation and execution of metal insulated wall panel projects. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in construction project management, with a strong focus on metal insulated panels and wall systems.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Travel: Must be willing and able to travel and temporarily relocate extensively.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Project Management Professional, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, experience with metal insulated wall panels or similar exterior cladding systems preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite and visit construction zones, including potential exposure to outdoor elements and construction site conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of metal insulated wall panel projects.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope.
- Regularly review project progress, identifying and mitigating risks or delays.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise superintendent, safety manager, quality manager, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Foster a collaborative environment with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality.
- Quality Control:
- Manage the Site Quality Manager, providing direction and resources to effectively supervise the installation of metal insulated wall panels.
- Help establish quality benchmarks and ensure all site teams adhere to internal and external quality standards.
- Budget & Cost Control:
- Track and manage project costs, ensuring all expenses are within the approved budget.
- Negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain the best value without compromising quality.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
- Safety Management:
- Ensure the Safety Professional implements proactive safety programs, policies, and training sessions for all site workers.
- Review recommendations and risk assessments made by the Safety Professional to ensure safety protocols are practical and effective in the context of the project.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and local construction safety regulations.

Pay Range:
$103,500 - $155,800
